A Bit About My Experience at GGSIPU
At GGSIPU, it was the first time I got to choose a subject I was genuinely interested in—unlike high school, where you’re stuck with pre-selected streams like PCM or commerce (shoutout to math for all the misery). Here, I was finally learning what I loved. My professors were fantastic, especially my design teacher. She was strict, and at first, I was honestly terrified of her. But as we dived deeper into complex software, I realized how much her tough approach was paying off. I started appreciating the challenge, learning the hard way, but the right way. Tight deadlines were the norm, but those pressure moments built up my skill set and made me more confident about my career path.
The course was well-rounded. In the first year, we covered print media—how to write content and design using different software. The second year focused on digital, and by the third year, it was all about public relations and event management. The last part brought it all together with digital media management, which solidified my vision to pursue this path further.
